A Beautiful Springkell Wedding for Adam & Kerry

What a fantastic night at Springkell for Adam and Kerry’s Wedding on the 5th September 2019.

The night kicked off by welcoming the newlyweds into the Ballroom at Springkell where they cut their cake – or should I say cakes! Adam and Kerry had an amazing cake table with chocolate cake, fruit cake and even a cake made of cheese.

It was then onto the First Dance and Adam and Kerry chose Only You by Jack Savoretti. This is the first time we have played this as a First Dance, but it is such a nice track with perfect First Dance lyrics.

After the First Dance, we opened up the dance floor with some 70s and 80s music. Adam and Kerry had requested a number tracks in advance of the big day using our Online Planner. We made sure to play as many of these as possible, along with guest requests on the night. The guests were awesome and made the evening so much fun!

To finish the night off, Adam and Kerry chose Wonderwall by Oasis for their last dance. It is one of everyone’s absolute favourites and was the perfect ending to a fantastic night.

Ross was both the piper and DJ for our wedding at Hetland Hall recently. Not only is he a thoroughly lovely guy, he’s also very professional and provided a brilliant service to us on the day with both his piping and his DJing. On the lead up to the wedding we had the option for us and our guests to make advance requests for the night with the online client portal, a great feature included in the service. On the night, he had everyone up dancing with a mix of old and new tracks. We even had a bit of a modern ceilidh set and danced the Gay Gordon’s to Gangnam style!! Ross arranged a virtual ceilidh for the Trophy d’Ecosse synchronized skating competition. The event couldn’t go ahead this year but we wanted our post competition party to still happen. Ross arranged dance cards in advance so everyone could learn the dances and he led proceedings over zoom on the night. The best Saturday night we have all had in lockdown! Thank you Ross.
