It was fantastic to DJ for Michael and Stacey’s Wedding at Hetland Hall Hotel on Saturday 21st September 2019.

When I met up with Stacey before the big day, she was so relaxed and just wanted us to take care of the music. Apart from one requests from her friends…. Come With Me by Special D! Whilst it’s always great to get a request list, we also love nights where the music is totally up to us.

Michael and Stacey kicked off their Evening Reception by cutting their amazing hundreds and thousands Wedding cake. Then it was straight into their First Dance.

For their First Dance, the newlyweds chose a lovely version of Higher Love by Lilly Winwood and Steve Winwood. It was then onto the Father Daughter Dance and Stacey and her Dad chose Hallelujah by Pentatonix.

Michael and Stacey wanted everyone on the dance floor straight away, so they chose to open the floor with a party classic… Proud Mary by Tina Turner! This got everyone up and really set the mood for the rest of the night.

We played a real mix of music throughout the evening, including loads of guests requests, but the highlight was definitely the 90s dance set – all those classics from high school/university!

THE BEST!! Ross was the DJ for our wedding and was so amazing, we could not have asked/wished for any better!! He also provided uplighting which was beautiful! Such a great selection of songs played to get everyone up which is exactly what we were looking for, the dance floor was busy all night and bouncing! Definitely made our wedding a memorable and amazing night! Captured great photos of night once the photographer had left. So easy to communicate with as I planned a special father/daughter dance to a song written/sung by my dad which I sent to Ross and he played for us. Would definitely recommend absolutely amazing!!!
