Hetland Hall Hotel Wedding DJ & Piper
We loved piping and DJ-ing for Brian and Lorraine’s Wedding at Hetland Hall Hotel on Friday 18th October 2019.
Our day started on the pipes, playing for those key moments throughout the day. During the Ceremony, Lorraine chose to go down the aisle to Highland Cathedral – a very popular pipe tune! We then played Mhairi’s Wedding as the newlyweds left the Ceremony and headed outside for drinks and photos.
The weather was amazing for October and guests enjoyed their drinks and canapés in glorious sunshine. Photos were taken by the awesome Graham from GE Photography.
After the meal, it was then over to the DJing. We kicked the night off with the cake cutting and went straight into the First Dance. Brian is a big Stone Roses fan so they chose The Sweet Fantastic by Ian Brown for their First Dance.
Brian and Lorraine were keen to have some ceilidh dancing during the evening, but really liked the idea of ceilidh dancing to modern music. After a quick practice to traditional music, it was then time to dance the Gay Gordons to Gangnam Style! A strange combination perhaps, but guests loved it!
The rest of the evening was made up mainly of guests requests with everything from Thunderstruck by AC/DC for the Father of the Bride to Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance.
Brian and Lorraine chose to finish their night with the classic Loch Lomond, but that wasn’t enough – their guests wanted one more song! It had to be Champagne Supernova by Oasis.
Congratulations Brian and Lorraine – thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!
