Friars Carse Country House Hotel

Set on the banks of the river Nith just outside Dumfries, Friars Carse Country House Hotel has been a regular Wedding venue for us for many years. Their fully heated marquee provides an excellent space for medium to large Weddings and Events and it looks fantastic at night with overhead fairy lights. They also cater for smaller Weddings and Events in the main house.

One of the highlights of Friars Carse Country House Hotel is the option of an outdoor Wedding Ceremony. You can get married on the front lawn with the river Nith in the background – it’s such a beautiful setting.

We have had the privilege of performing at many Weddings and Events at Friars Carse Country House Hotel and have also been trusted to take care of the entertainment for their Christmas Party Nights in the past.

Ross was the DJ at our wedding on Saturday and We highly recommend him. He is such a great guy and provided us with excellent DJ services. Ross arranged a virtual ceilidh for the Trophy d’Ecosse synchronized skating competition. The event couldn’t go ahead this year but we wanted our post competition party to still happen. Ross arranged dance cards in advance so everyone could learn the dances and he led proceedings over zoom on the night. The best Saturday night we have all had in lockdown! Thank you Ross.
