David & Emma’s Awesome Wedding at the Cocoabean

We had a fantastic night in the beautiful marquee at The Cocoabean Company in Twynholm for David and Emma’s Wedding.

David and Emma first got in touch with us around two years ago after they had seen us perform at Emma’s Grad Ball as well as one of their friend’s Weddings. They loved the music we played so decided we would be the perfect DJ for their special day. After chatting through their plans, they went ahead with our Premium Package which includes everything you need for the evening as well as full access to the Online Planner.

After announcing the newlyweds into the marquee, it was time to cut the cake and then straight into the First Dance. David and Emma are both big Foo Fighters fans so it had to be a Foo Fighters song for their First Dance, but they struggled to choose which song. After much deliberation, they agreed on an acoustic version of Everlong and it was such a lovely start to the evening.

For the Father Daughter Dance, Emma and her Dad chose Bon Jovi’s latest single, Story of Love. A beautiful new song all about family and growing up – the perfect song for a Father Daughter dance.

Cocoabean Wedding DJ

Now it’s time to open up the dance floor and there really was only one choice – another Foo Fighters track! This time it was Times Like These, which got everyone going and really set the tone for the rest of the night.

David & Emma made the most of our Online Planner and requested lots of their favourite songs in advance of the big day. This meant we arrived knowing exactly what they wanted to hear – lots of 90s and 00s with a bit of ABBA thrown in as well! Between the fantastic party tunes and the old school punk rock tracks, it was such an awesome night!

Huge congratulations to David & Emma and thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day! Shout out to Beckie and the Cocoabean team for all your help and great to catch up with Duncan Ireland who was taking care of all things photography.

Ross DJ’d our wedding on Saturday. He was absolutely amazing! Catered for all tastes of music and there was never a moment people were off the dance floor! We’ve had so many people comment on how good Ross was, would not hesitate to recommend him. Even before the wedding, access to the website for myself and guests to recommend songs and a regular contact to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted for the day, and always a speedy response! Ross is doing my best friends wedding in May and we already can’t wait to dance to his music again Thank you so much
