Fiona & Graeme’s Amazing Ayrshire Wedding
We finished off 2021 in style with an awesome night at the stunning Brig O’ Doon House Hotel near Ayr for Fiona and Graeme’s Wedding.
Originally due to be married in December 2020, Fiona and Graeme had no option but to postpone their special day, but it was definitely worth the wait! They were married in front of their family and friends in the beautiful Brig O’ Doon Ballroom with an amazing Christmas tree as a backdrop – perfect for their Christmas themed Wedding!
We kicked off the evening reception with their First Dance. Fiona and Graeme chose a lovely cover of Home originally by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. Then it was time to invite all their guests to join them on the dance floor for a Christmas classic – Fairytale of New York by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl. The perfect start to such a fantastic night!
Brig O’ Doon Hotel Wedding DJ
Fiona and Graeme made the most of our Online Planner and requested some of their favourite songs in advance of the big day. This meant we arrived knowing exactly what they wanted to hear. They also used our Guest Request System meaning their guests could request their favourite songs as well. We took all the requests and created the perfect playlist for the evening. The night flew by with a mix of party classics, rock, 90’s anthems, top 40 and of course one or two Christmas songs!
We finished off the night on a high with another play of Fairytale of New York and then into Loch Lomond. That wasn’t enough for Fiona and Graeme’s guests though – they wanted one more tune! We managed to squeeze in the request for the great sing-a-long track Run by Snow Patrol. A perfect ending to an awesome night!
