Wedding DJ

Your Wedding is made of three main parts - the Ceremony, the Wedding Breakfast, and the Evening Reception. The ceremony usually lasts for around an hour, the breakfast around two hours, and the evening reception around five hours. It is for this reason that choosing the right entertainment is key to a successful day.

At RK DJ Mobile Discos we understand that no two weddings are the same and that your special day is unique. This is why we take the time to listen to your requirements and tailor our services to suit your ideas. We offer face-to-face meetings, at a time that suits you to ensure your day goes exactly as you want it to. We concentrate on your music tastes and can work from a detailed playlist, or just a general idea of the genres you like. Requests from guests are more than welcome before your wedding or on the night, and we always do our best to play each one.

More and more brides are now choosing to come down the aisle to a commercial song that is close to their hearts. We can supply a Ceremony Setup to play any special tracks you would like at your ceremony. Also, perhaps you may have a singer whilst you are signing the register - We can supply the relevant sound equipment for this.

Working with bands is something we regularly do and have a great working relationship with local wedding band Not Guilty. If you can’t decide to go do the band or DJ route, then have both, with our Band and DJ Combo.

Music for wedding day

All of our clients have access to our Online Planning facilities. This allows you to request your favourite music, add a timeline of your wedding day, create a list of the bridal party and make payments online.

Our Extras help to create a spectacular atmosphere for your wedding day. Whether it is uplighting around the reception venue, or piping at the ceremony, it all adds to the overall wow factor of your day.

Microphone work is an essential part of any mobile DJ and we pride ourselves on ours. We like to use clear and concise announcements at key points throughout the reception, along with some interactivity with the guests. We find that an over used microphone can spoil a function and create a dull atmosphere.

Smart wedding DJ

The DJ’s attire is an important question often asked by brides, and we understand that a pair of old jeans and a scruffy t-shirt is not what should be worn to a wedding. We like to wear a pair of nice dark trousers and a proper shirt. Full Highland Dress can also be worn if you would prefer.

We have good working relationships with many wedding venues and suppliers within the region, however, we are always keen to meet new faces and work seamlessly together making your day run as smooth as possible.

We are here to help make your ideas of a perfect wedding reception come to life - Take a look at what our previous clients think of us on our Feedback page.
